Location: East Manchester
We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team in East Manchester, working across a range of project activities for one of our key clients.
What will you be doing?
Reporting into the Project Manager, your role will involve working within a project team to ensure that quote, survey, and planning activities are all completed to the right quality and timescales required by our customer.
This role may on occasion require travel for customer meetings and will be a mix of home and office working so it is important that candidates can work well as part of a team but also be self-sufficient and work independently. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone keen to move into the project management world who can demonstrate strong administrative and organisational skills along with an appetite to do well and progress.
What will your key responsibilities be?
- Organising planning, survey and quote activities for our customer and managing these through to a successful completion.
- Booking access and providing administrative support to our engineering team and sub-contractors.
- Scheduling work, engineers, and logistics.
- Supporting the financial tracking of the project.
- Attending meetings and conference calls with the customer, our supply chain, and stakeholders.
- Maintaining relationships both internally at Magdalene as well as within the customer, and the supply chain.
- Maintaining project documentation and processes.
- Supporting project performance reporting.
What competencies are we looking for?
- Previous experience of working in a support, administrative or coordinator function is important for this role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages (specifically Excel) at intermediate level.
- An individual who can work to high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and organisation.
- The ability to always communicate effectively and professionally.
- Customer service.
- Quick to learn new processes and systems.
- Good multi-tasking skills.
- A team player with the ability to also work independently.
