About The Role
Our Client is focused on the design, build and maintenance of telecom infrastructure for key clients in the fixed telecom market. They are part of the Telecom Division of a Group of companies. They deliver a range of essential infrastructure services to the utilities, transport, data and telecom sectors across the UK and Ireland.
Smart City Recruiters Ltd are currently looking to recruit a 3-man poling team to be based out of our clients Risby (Bury St Edmunds) office covering our South East contract.
As a member of the poling team your duties & responsibilities will be:
- Installation and removal of poles, including dressing new poles.
- Replacing/renewing existing drop-wires
- Replacing/renewing overhead and UG joints in the Openreach fibre and copper network
- Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with Service Level Agreements
- Undertaking works in accordance with Health and Safety legislation, company and client Health and Safety standards
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
- Must be able to do provides and D poles.
- Experience, knowledge and application of the utilities/construction industry.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Pole Erection Unit and HIAB experience
- Class 2 CPC (Driver)
- NRSWA Accredited
