Logistics Lead

Location: Newchapel

Duration: Permanent

Right across infrastructure, there’s a requirement to not only maintain, but also renew and reimagine. Whatever stage you’re at in your career; with us you’ll have an opportunity to grow and develop. Delivering essential infrastructure services for life, while being safety first, and client and customer centric in a friendly, fun and respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive.

Where will you be working?

Our client are enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.

They deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.

This role will be within our clients Fixed networks team, you’ll join our client’s people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks.

What will you be doing?

We’re looking for someone reliable and hands-on to help manage stock and support our depots in Newchapel, East Grinstead, Crawley, and Gillingham.

You’ll be in charge of keeping track of stock, making sure it’s received and issued on time, and helping to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll work closely with our operations team, flagging any issues early and helping us stay ahead of problems.

You’ll also carry out regular stock checks, both in our depots and with third-party suppliers. Sometimes you’ll train others too. You’ll work with our clients Plant & Fleet team to make sure we’re following the rules and staying safe.

You’ll take pride in keeping the depot tidy and safe. If you’re working away from your main depot, we’ll sort out transport. Some days you’ll be working on your own, so you’ll need to be confident making decisions and getting things done without much supervision.

You’ll build strong working relationships with the people around you and be ready to step in when the business needs extra help. That might mean working late or travelling between depots now and then.

What you’ll bring:

You know the basics of Health and Safety and you’re confident using Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook. You speak clearly, listen well, and work in a way that’s tidy and planned. You stay focused, stay ready, and always aim to do your best. You care about great service, and you show it in how you work every day.

What’s in it for you?
