About The Role
Our client is focused on the design, build and maintenance of telecom infrastructure for key clients in the fixed telecom market. They are part of the Telecom Division of group of companies. They deliver a range of essential infrastructure services to the utilities, transport, data and telecom sectors across the UK and Ireland.
Smart City are currently looking to recruit a Telecommunications Trainer to work on our clients Telecom Contract in the Glasgow Area, based out of our clients Blantyre office.
This role will manage a wide range of quality assurance through training, coaching, and completing assessments of industry qualifications/accreditations.
As a Telecommunications Trainer your duties & responsibilities will be:
- Train and coach individuals in the correct methodologies for workmanship to the point of accreditation
- Work with industry and our clients to ensure you are up to speed with the latest training and accreditations required for the work
- Ensure that the products and services we deliver for our clients conform to the specified requirements and agreed standards
- Advise suitable corrective and preventive action following the identification of any quality issues
- Represent as required for customer meetings ensuring customers and company’s quality standards are understood and implemented accordingly
- Ensure the provision of a safe and secure working environment in keeping with company policy and procedure as well as any legal requirements
- Provide support to installation whenever clarifications of methods and/or procedures are required.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
- Experience of working across the telecommunications industry
- Experience in training and/or assessing within Telecommunications Industry
- Must have a range of existing telecommunications accreditations
- NRSWA supervisor qualifications desirable
- Overview and good knowledge of the telecommunication industry fixed and mobile
