Bid Co-Ordinator
Location: Birmingham (Head Office)
Duration: Full-Time | Competitive Salary | 37.5 hours per week

Smart City Recruiters Ltd are looking for a Bid Coordinator with Demolition & Remediation to be part of our client bin team, based out of their Birmingham office.

Brief Description

Reporting to the Bid Manager we require a Bid Co-ordinator to assist the Bid Manager to progress opportunities through the bid life cycle and ultimately successfully handover won bids to the delivery team.

This role would be suited to someone who is already undertaking this role and is looking for a change to help develop their skills further, or someone who has general office experience and is keen to learn about what bidding entails with a view to developing into a Bid Manager role in future.

Duties & Responsibilities – Bid Co-Ordinator
•Managing central inbox and team diaries
•Downloading PQQ and ITT documents from portals
•Managing portal logins and clarification process for opportunities being pursued
•Searching for new business opportunities and extracting pertinent information to pass on to Business Development Team & Directors
•Assisting the Bid Manager with tender preparation, ensuring uniformity of submission documents, formatting etc.
•Liaison across the business to prepare compelling tender proposal documents together
•Logging new and incoming tender information to ensure the team keeps abreast of upcoming deadlines
•Maintaining bid library ensuring certificates, policies and process documents are in date for inclusion in response documents
•Taking new business telephone calls and relaying information to the BD Team and Directors
•Organising and attending weekly team meetings
•Knowledge of CRM systems (Monday.com) and inDesign would be advantageous but not essential
