- Description
Smart City Recruiter are looking to recruit a Fibre and Civils Surveyor for our client in the Lowestoft area. This position has opened due to company expansion and is on a perm basis.
The Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:•Completing surveys to a very high standard in rural and urban locations•Efficiently plan FTTH (fibre to the home) and internal fibre cabling routes•Dealing directly with the end client and any issues in the project•Understanding and Surveying existing Fibre Optic Network infrastructure including ducts and potentials for upgrades•Planning civils works for FTTH where required•Creating "Job Packs" to pass back to the client for engineering works to be carried outDetails of Special Skills/experience/aptitudes needed
• Candidates require a minimum of 2 yrs. Experience working on the Openreach/Virgin/CityFibre Network
• Be PC literate with the Ability to understand/ design complex Network plans
• Good knowledge of FTTP/FTTH/CAT A planning process.
• Excellent Knowledge of Fibre/Civils networks
• Knowledge of BT network (overhead and UG)
• Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Excel, Email, Word and PowerPoint
• NRSWA Street works Card
Customer Service
• Delivering a consistently high level of customer service when out in the field.
Health and Safety
• Working and ensuring that you are working with in the Health and Safety requirements as per company policy.
General
• You will be completing surveys to a very high standard in Rural and Urban locations.
