As a Site Manager working within our Aquatics team, you’ll have the opportunity to work in some of the most incredible environments around the UK from the highlands of Scotland to stately homes and country parks, you’ll also help us deliver some of our complex framework projects for clients such as the Environment Agency and the Canal and Rivers trust. This work will be challenging and demanding but with the ultimate reward of making a difference to our ever-depleting landscape that is of vital importance to our country. Working on a national basis, the main roles and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: •Management & development of the overall site programme including carrying out site activities in accordance with the project outline •Preparing & communicating weekly, fortnightly & monthly updates with Contract/Project Managers •Capturing & communicating site instructions from clients recording programme delays, additional site works & other variations •Accurately interpret & follow drawing, specifications & Bill of Quantities •Supervise, work with & manage direct workforce, agency operatives, sub-contractors & other on-site operatives •Sourcing plant & materials as required for the site, raising requisitions as well as off hiring, in conjunction with the Operations Administrator •Comply with the requirements of the Company’s Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems by completing, handling & communicating the required information The ideal candidate will be a positive leader, self-motivated, highly organised with the ability to forward plan, prioritise and work to deadlines. You must have 5 years previous experience in a similar role, a full driving license, be SMSTS qualified, hold a current CSCS card, and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. As our client provide a nationwide service, you will be required to travel on a regular basis. This is a full-time permanent position offering many benefits including 28 days’ holiday (including Bank Holidays), a contributory pension scheme, additional holiday for longevity of service & a holiday purchase/buy-back scheme.
