- Smart City Recruiters Ltd are looking for a Setting Out Engineer for our client based in the West Midland area on a permanent basis, our client is a well know construction and build company with a highly respected reputation in their industry.
My Client are looking for a Setting Out Engineer with Construction, build and civils experience, salary will be dependent on experience and level of work you have done in your previous roles. Must be willing to travel to where ever the sites maybe, Accommodation would be provided for sites that are deemed to far to travel both ways in one day.
The successful candidate will have the following Skills
- Setting out line and level using co-ordinates via Total Station
- A basic understanding of Civil Engineering works
- Ability to interpret Setting out Drawings / Strings
- Ability to use Robotics
- To receive all drawings and information and set out sites in accordance with same
- Have a good commercial understanding and know the difference between cost and value
- To provide all necessary as built drawings and information.
Candidates must have
- Experience in the use of CAD software.
- CSCS Card
- Engineering related degree (or similar).
- Previous experience working within the construction industry with an understanding of building and civil engineering works including understanding of site paperwork and photos
- An understanding of street works
- Full driving licence
