Road Surface Markings - General Manager

Smart City Recruiter are looking to recruit a Project and Planning Co-Ordinator for our client in the Bury St Edmonds area. This position has opened due to company expansion and is on a perm basis.

Tasks will include:
Travel to and managing multiple sites during a day (Nationwide)
On Site Audits focusing on, but not limited to:

• Health & Safety
• Quality of work
• Productivity reporting
• Proactively looking at staff, resolving problems, evaluating deadline estimates and adjusting as needed, and implementing change orders – in conjunction with the Road Surface Marking Planning & Programming Manager.
• Working in conjunction with Transport Manager to ensure compliance of all Vehicles.
• Meet operational standards by resolving problems, contributing information to strategic plans, and identifying improvements
• Maintain healthy and safe work environment by enforcing procedures and standards and complying with legal regulations.
• Co-ordinate the storage, ordering and quantities of material to maximize Output
• Training and ensuring that operatives are properly trained for their specific roles.
• Manage sites to ensure full SHEQ requirements
• Manage relationship between Client, Operatives & HQ.
• Providing real-time feedback.
• Assisting in resolving any operational issues raised by the Contractor or members of the public. For example, quality or a customer care issue.
• Charting, Designing & Surveying sites as and when required.
Ideal Candidate
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Road Surface Marking Industry
• Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Road Surface Marking
• Minimum of 2 years as a Supervisor / Foreman
• Whilst the Role will require Nationwide Travel – the ideal candidate will be located along the M62 Corridor.

Salary - £45k - £47k + package
