Smart City Recruiters Ltd.’s client is focused on the design, build and maintenance of Scottish POWER infrastructure for key clients in the fixed Energy market. They are part of the Energy Division of a Group of companies.
 
Smart City Recruiters Ltd are looking for a Procurement Administrator to be part of our client project team, based out of their Bellshill office.
 
This contract is responsible for the delivery of the Scottish Power Framework Contract throughout Ayrshire, Central & Fife, Dumfries, Edinburgh, Borders, Lanarkshire, and Dumfries. Our objective is to manage and deliver a safe and quality service to Scottish Power and to develop a relationship which enables sustained growth within this key client.
 
As a Procurement Administrator your main duties & responsibilities will be:
You will be part of our Procurement team who are responsible for the procurement of materials on the contract for planned and reactive works.
 
  • Processing Order Requests which can range from Materials, Skip Exchanges, Tar, Building supplies, Stationery.
  • Ordering Materials from supplies by use of our Oracle system
  • Good receipting and entering onto Oracle system
  • Account Enquiries and Queries
  • Run reports from Oracle system to actively investigate aged orders not receipted
  • Contacting suppliers to obtain quotes as and when required
 
Requirements, experience, and qualifications
We will train you on everything you need to know about our services, but we’re looking for enthusiastic, positive individuals.
 
  • You will need the ability to work in an organised, professional manner
  • You must be able to deliver strong communication skills and have the flexibility to work efficiently, both as part of a team, and individually.
  • You must be able to react calmly and be able to assess situations with both understanding and objectivity, showing patience and professionalism in any scenario.
  • Previous utility industry knowledge and experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent IT skills particularly MS Word and Excel

•          Hours : 8am – 5pm 40hrs per week – 1 hour’s unpaid lunch
•          Starting Salary £22,000pa
•          Immediate start
