Job Summary:
To customers you’ll be the face of our company enabling an ultrafast broadband capability that is fit for the future.
Working as part of a two-person team in a local area, you will install, repair & test fibre cables from the Virgin Media network up to customer properties. The job is working on the external network so you’ll need to be comfortable working at heights and operating in an outdoor role come rain or shine.
You will be provided with all the necessary training and equipment in order to become a fully-fledged technician in no time. No two days are the same, which means you’ll always be learning and finding new challenges to get stuck in to. We’ll make sure you reach your potential and have lots of fun along the way.
About You:
Other than a driving licence and a customer-focused approach, you don’t need any specific skills or experience to apply. We’ll give you all of the training that you need to get you up and running, along with continued support from day one.
Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
Essential:• Strong communication/customer service skills• A valid clean UK driving licence (no more than 6 points, with no disqualifications), required for fleet van insurance
Desirable:• Creativity to solve problems• Experience of working with power tools where necessary• Experience working in cable laying or similar manual environments• NRSWA Accredited, Signing, Lighting and Guarding

£21,000.00 - £23,000.00 + bonus + package
