Reporting to: Design Manager
Location: Yorkshire and North of England
Day Rate: £250per day (using own vehicle and tools) Mileage paid at 45p per mile
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To assess, record and plan cost effective Civils and Fibre installation solutions for our clients throughout the UK.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day to day network fibre planning in accordance with clients’ requirements.
Specific Responsibilities / Hard Skills

Responsible for surveying civils requirements and customer premises to install optic fibre/telecomsequipment
- Taking digital images as appropriate, recording suitability, and identifyingrisk
- Ensuring accurate completion of all survey submissions and work is completed on time with accuracy

Understand highwayrestrictions
- Relay survey information in a concise and effectivemanner
- Where required produce detailed industry- standard designpacks
- Use of GIS software and network planning tools
- flexible approach with changing working environment
- Efficient communication and engagement with clients
- Meeting operational targets set bythe managementteam
- Covering of other roles where required by the business to complete businessactivities
Key Skills And Qualifications
Required
- Unit 2 NRSWA
- SA002
- GISexperience
- PIA knowledge
- FTTP methodologies anddesign
- Computer literate with exceptional understanding of Microsoft applications
- Outstanding communicationskills
- A positive and enthusiastic approach towork
- Good organisation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Min 5 years telecoms experience
